Get ready for a fun-filled, inclusive day at The Mane Event, a community celebration designed for everyone—whether you run, walk, wheel, or roll (or anything in between!) This exciting fundraising event, hosted by Cambridge Riding for the Disabled (RDA), takes place on Sunday, 6th April 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the Te Awa River Trail, starting at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome and finishing at the RDA grounds.Led by our beloved Marvellous Monty (our famous mini pony!) and his equine friends, participants can enjoy a scenic course, with a shorter option available for those who need it that starts at the RDA. At the finish line, the fun continues with live music, pop-up stalls, spot prizes, and special guests—creating a fantastic atmosphere for families, friends, and the wider community. More than just an event, The Mane Event is about inclusivity, connection, and celebrating all abilities while raising much-needed funds for Cambridge RDA’s therapeutic riding programmes.
